COST
When you compare the Scouting America to other youth-serving organizations, Scouting America provides unique growth opportunities at a great value. The following are costs associated with other youth activities in the North Colonie area:
  • Tackle Football: $350 for a three-month season (Fee doesn’t include mouth guard, protective cup, and cleats).
  • Youth orchestra: $675-$1400 (Fee does not include concert-level instrument).
  • Select/Travel Soccer: $450-$3000 (Fee does not include uniforms, which are on 2-year cycle, cleats, ball, shin guards, tournament fees).
  • Youth Travel Baseball: $400-$2500 (Fee does not include baseball bats, gloves, helmets, uniforms, other gear, and tournament fees.​
From education to high adventure, the Scouting America provides unique growth opportunities at a great value and we want all eligible youth to receive these benefits and participate in Scouting.  No Scout is ever turned away for financial reasons, and we fundraise every year to lower costs.
